I haven't tried it on my Gladiator yet, but when doing long distance trips in warm weather I've used bug barricade from Griots Garage on other vehicles.

You spray it on and it comes off when you wash your truck. (It will also come off in heavy rain.) I've also used it numerous times on the nose of an enclosed trailer while hauling a car.

Its cheap enough to give it a try and see what you think...

Ive had good luck with plastidip as a sacrificial coating. Once cured you armoral it and it will let most things slough off. Bonus point for being removable and reapplyable. I've had flat black, satin grey, a violet teal color shift silver and now hemi red which is like international orange. Fun to play with colors.

For the glass I recomend a deep acetone and alcohol cleaning followed with a few coats of good carnuba wax with a good buff between. Wont stop them from hitting but will stop them from staying.

XPEL. Self heals and helps prevent rock chips. I had it on my jk for 6 years without any discoloration.

If you think living in the Central Valley or mountains of Cali produce a lot of bugs, try driving in Florida over alligator alley during the rainy season (summer) or try driving up in central Florida during the rainy season, your mind will be blown!
