So, lately ive been broke as a joke for any mods these days. Supporting a family and being the only worker, it gets tough to find any extra income for mods.
I have been dying to get rid of the 31" stock sport tires (or 32...whatever they are). So this past weekend I was able to trade a part I had laying around for a set of used KO2 and 5 jeep wheels.
I went and checked them out and tread was wore decent and still a little life. I went ahead and traded.

Today I went and had the tires switched onto the stock sport wheels. Looks sooo much better! Now I just gotta find a spare 315 or 35 to replace the stock spare.
For now I have not recalibrated, as I need to get a JSCAN or tazer, but for now, I am like a kid in a candy store!

Here is what it looks like before and after:

Update:
Just took it for a drive to drop something off to someone and wanted to test the thing people say about rarely seeing 8th gear.

With mine, it was going into 8th gear most of the time I was driving, except when it was time to go up a hill.

So far all seems well. Thrilled with it so far.

Always feels good to make a change. Especially when you scratch and itch. Looks much better with those.

Those look fantastic. Can you post a picture showing how much they poke past fenders?

Thanks,
They actually dont poke. If anything the front does maybe 1/4 inch or so. The rear is still completely under.

I will try to grab another pic.

Thanks I think it changed the look 100 times better.
Now I have to do some leveling or something.

You have the Max Tow package and 4.10's, which works GREAT with 35's.

Standard 3.73 gearing isn't a great combination with 35's.

The JT should come stock with 35's and 4.10's, but Jeep has to do things the old way. Your truck looks sweet with those new shoes!

Perfect! It should be the same on a regular sport I would assume, since the max tow fenders are only wider due to the wider axles.
Yeah but I’m not sure. I think I have heard your base will rub inside due to not having the wider axles. You would need wheel spacers to pull it out some, and then you would prob have some “poke”

Here are my 315/70/17 BFG KO2s on Sport S with stock wheels. I need to add spacers since I have some rubbing on the lower control arms at full lock to the right.

OP, the new tires look great!

Hopefully I’m adding to the OP’s post rather than highjacking it. I have the stock suspension plus the Rancho 1.5” front leveling kit. Comes with springs and shocks. I went with the 9000 adjustable shocks which have been great so far!

oops...I see you are the OP so I guess you don’t mind, lol.

I want to go to that size but I wonder what a smaller wheel offset would do for the rubbing? I am looking at +12 offset or so. But I love the look of that tire and size.
