Ham radio install with pics

I installed my 2m/440 radio in my glad.
Decided to use velcro to mount the display on top of the rear view mirror.
Radio is under the passenger seat on block of wood to get it off the floor. Mic is stored in center console.
I ran the power from the battery, thru the wire chase along the firewall from battery to the drivers side (used an old 102 inch cb antenna whip to fish it thru the wire chase) to keep the wiring neat.
Went thru the firewall using the standard hole meant for the clutch cable, then once inside the cab, back to the pax side to get under the pax seat.
The wire I used for power is in the pic below, it is designed for boats, positive and negative are sheathed.
Antenna is on the drivers side front cowl (didn't get any pics of this).

Nice work. I have a 71A in my JK and only decided on the Yaesu FTM200 because it does System Fusion and our club has a SF repeater. The 71A is a great radio.

The FTM200 control head is just a bit too big for there. I know because I tried.
