Id be curious to know how well it works in rain and snow. Tried hughes as others have said and it was garbage anytime it had crappy wx. Luckily we just got fiber at home but still have LTE modems in the JT and other vehicles. Be nice to have a stable signal when wx isn't great.

I've been told it's fine in rain and snow - but that's coming from people not even close to Iowa.
I got sick of having to get up to the Hughes dish and knocking ice and snow pack off it. And around here, ice is common. Our stuff often starts as rain, then freezing rain, then wet snow, then dry snow. Tough to remove and a constant problem on dishes. And a heavy rain? Forget it. Hughes sucked.
One friend in the CO area said the dish is heated for starlink - no ice or snow problem, but I can't imagine her experiencing our torrential 5"/hour or better rains (short bursts for the most part but we've had 12 hour long rains that were real soakers that flooded everything in sight - 1993, for example, even 1995 or so)
I believe the frequency is so much different that it's not supposed to be too bad in rain and snow. However, that's yet to be seen - there are times the clouds and atmosphere here are so thick GPS devices can't contact the satellites - some days GPS isn't reliable.
