Has anyone ever heard of Jeep taking preorders on a color before it’s available?

It’s simple, I’ve been pining for a Mojito Mojave. However, I figure there will likely be a messy bunch of price increases before the “metallic gecko” (aka Mojito) makes it‘s appearance. Then, the idea of preorder dawned upon me and I just couldn’t stop myself from asking the question.

Preordering wouldn't exempt you from price increases.
That and the system isn't set up to accept orders for things that don't exist.
