I have a 2020 Gladiator / Rubicon.
I'm considering buying a head Liner kit for sound deadening and temperature insulation.
I'd appreciate any input regarding brands and whether the kits are effective for sound and temperature comfort?

Thanks in advance.

I installed the Hothead Headliner kit in my 2023 Mojave. It was an easy install and I am glad I did it. It definitely did help with sound and temperature. I was hesitant at first because of the price but I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Hothead Headliners with the sound dampening strips work great on mine. I also did some spray-on sound dampening on the hard top itself under all that (which helped a little bit), but the headliner was by far the biggest improvement in comfort.

If your main goal is reducing cabin noise and heat transfer, most of the quality hardtop liner kits will help noticeably, especially on long highway drives. The difference is definitely more obvious than people expect.

If you’re ever interested in something that combines insulation with a finished interior look, we also offer a hardtop liner option (StarLINER) that adds acoustic paneling while giving you a fiber optic “starlight” ceiling effect. It’s more of a premium aesthetic upgrade, but it still provides real sound dampening since the panels are self-contained acoustic material.

Thanks for your feedback. ..... I like the color of your Gladiator. I just bought mine a few months ago, perfect shape, well equiped but white. Not bad, but I love the burnt orange color.
