Anyone seen an adjustable replacement for this yet, ideally available in factory leather and cloth color options?
I highly doubt this will be a part or mod an aftermarket company will partake in. If you’re in an accident and end up with head, neck or back issues the fact that you modded the part will be a huge liability to anyone offering the part or mod.

Although I haven't tried, will the rear seat head rests fit in the front?

Back from the dead...

any solution for this?

I am starting to have a lot of back/neck pain while driving.
wish I could have an adjustable headrest.
I think the only really solution was to pull it off completely, or flip it around.

Though I seem to remember, without going back to re read the thread, that a member stuck theirs in a bench vise and straightened it a bit.

Im not sure how available they are if you were to do the bending option and accidentally bend them.

You can pull the headrest out and bend it.

im way late to the game on this...has anyone bent their gladiator headrest? I bought those maiker neck supports and they sit low for me. I am 6'6" and they hit my shoulders. bending them might solve it for me. they are crazy well made. im just too tall. bending would be awesome!
here is the neck support thing LINK

EDIT: my impatience and ADD got the better of me. I Just bent mine successfully. took very little effort. I laid a board down, wrapped headrest in a towel and put another board on top. Knelt down in the board and put a short pipe on the peg. two easy tugs and it is nearly straight. bonus the neck rest i linked above fits nearly perfect now.

Switching the head rest backwards; was more comfortable IMO. Unfortunately the retention locks no longer engage when in reserve orientation.

Ford F-350 headrest also fit, but also retention locks do not engage.

honestly flipping them backwards removes most discomfort. Allows for resale stock.
