Rookie here looking to buy this lift of a guy that bought it of a guy.

the Fox shocks part number 986-24-110 shows up nowhere online or even the fox website.
They do not look like the rubicon takeoffs that have red w/ fox logo. These look like upgraded shocks that come w/ a Mopar lift but I’m confused not finding the part numb.

so can anyone help me w/ the shocks and what about the rest of the lift in the pictures? Does it look like takeoffs or Mopar lift?

Im waiting on more pictures and part numbs from the guy.

thanks in advance for the help

Looks like the mopar parts. Cross reference the part numbers on the springs to the parts list you have on top of the crate. They will be corner specific.

It’s the Mopar lift kit.

Appreciate the picture

I hope the rest of the parts he has is too or it’s just takeoffs. Just confusing why the original dude didn’t use the shocks. Maybe he bought the lift kit and went with different shocks I guess.

Not sure I follow about the original guy not using the shocks - how do you know, or what's the story behind them?

I would be shocked if that wasn't just the entire Mopar lift kit. I mean he has the crate, and it contains exactly what you get in that kit (Fox shocks, springs, longer end links & control arms, etc.). Doesn't even look used (unless those are outdated pics). Wouldn't really make sense for take-offs to be mixed together, since the kit is all-inclusive.

The FB seller listed as rubicon takeoffs with upgraded shocks. I originally couldn’t find the shock numbs.

But you and others have confirmed the shocks are upgraded ones.

I agree looking at the photos it looks like a complete Mopar kit but priced at half the price of a new one. So with his title and him buying the kit of someone else I wanted to confirm they are all Mopar lift parts which that would be a hell of a deal. Or it is rubicon take offs besides the shocks.

if it is rubicon take offs w/ upgraded shocks is it still worth it? Will the stock springs be ok w/ upgraded shocks? I read that the upgraded shocks were designed w/ upgraded springs.

I can find rubi take offs spring/ shocks for $200

where this is more (great if the worlds cheapest Mopar lift)

make sense? Haha

Gotcha. Half price is getting close to "too good to be true" territory, tbh. That said, I don't know how he'd have the crate if they are rubi take-offs, unless he actually did get the Mopar kit and installed that instead, and is just using the crate to store the take-offs.

But as you also mentioned, aren't the rubi shocks decorated in red? And I'm not super familiar, but do people usually include end links and control arms as part of a "rubi take-off"?

As for mixing and matching, you probably don't want to do that. It's best to just do it right - the whole point of the Mopar kit is that it's designed as a complete set.

I suppose all you can do is ask for the part numbers on the springs, and control arms if possible. The end links don't seem to have part numbers, but if you can get him to measure them - we can confirm if they are the longer ones from the kit.

One last thing I noticed - although the Fox number on the shock matches, the Mopar one doesn't. Try asking for a pic of that full number, because that will likely be the one to show up in searches for genuine Mopar parts.

The pictured sway bar end links appear to be of STOCK dimensions. The fronts (shorter) are definitely NOT of extended length.

I’ve seen some rubi takeoffs with extra trash when all you need or want is the shocks and springs. But usually just the shocks / springs. It’s got to be rubi takeoffs w/ upgraded shocks. Which I should just skip and do it right.

The shocks won't work well if you don't have a 2" lift, movement is going to be restricted for the travel they were designed for.

In the MOPAR lift kit, you only get 1 set of sway bar end links, for the rear. The OEM rears get moved to the front.

Don't know what the price is, but I would steer clear of it. Looks like somebody else got fooled and is trying to pass it on.

The Mopar kit comes with both front and rear longer links. The fronts retain the same bend as well, just scaled out properly.
