What lug nuts do we need to get? prefer black, high quality, and no requirement for a specific chuck if possible

Hello, we have a brand new 2022 Gladiator Rubicon Diesel for use in our non-profit courses for veterans in need.

We have Fifteen52 smoothie rims which are 17 x 8.5", 0 offset, and 4.75" backspacing (5x5 on stock axles) mounted on 37"s

OEM lugnuts are too fat to fit in rim so we purchased M14 x 1.5" cone seat (60 degrees), 22 mm hex, Length: 1.06 Inch (26.92mm) Width: 1.06 Inch (26.92mm) Height: 1.54 Inch (39.12mm) which seems to be the standard that everybody is using for aftermarket rims.

The lugs go into the hole fine but aren't long enough for the socket to get any bite before the lug disappears into the rim. The pic of the two lugs on the wheel isn't tight, just as far I as I could it by hand before it disappeared. All our previous rims had the conical part of the lug seat against the outside of the rim so this is weird for us. See pics (the silver one is OEM and the black is aftermarket) and thanks for the help

Spline drive lug nuts are great. I’m running Gorrilla as well on a set of Icon Vehicle Dynamics Rebound Pro but anything spline drive 14mm x 1.5 (or maybe 2”) looks like it’ll work. You should measure the length and get what you need. I believe they list 1.5” length as specifically for the Gladiator w/ aftermarket wheels.

Thank you all, looks like we will have to get the kind with the key; not a huge fan of having to have a specialty piece for rims but not the biggest deal. Appreciate your help!

For a visual reference, the factory Jeep lugnuts while M14-1.5 with the standard 60° angle have a much larger contact area than 'normal' lugnuts

Left-OEM Right - Rugged Ridge 'long' aftermarket M14-1.5 (these might be long enough for you, PN #: 16715.33 )

Hi, I wanted to close out this thread by sharing that I was able to find 19mm lug nuts that were much longer than standard lugs and don't require a key and fit perfectly on our rims. They were from Dorman: Racing Style XL Wheel Lug Nuts; M14x1.50; Set of 24 (20-22 Jeep Gladiator JT)
Item #: JG16071

Pics attached.

Bump from the dead here. These look great... Interested in how these have held up. Got splined lugs and they rusted almost immediately on the edges being slightly rounded. Also looking up the item all I could find was Amazon and Extreme Terrain. Seems the Amazon reviews arent great. where did you order from? Thanks
