Im at loss right now after everyone said you can install these without lifting the gladiator. I live on gravel incline so lifting here at home is off the table. I can't get to these bolts with my impact wrench and won't brake free with my wrench.

You could try heating them. If they have locktite on there they’ll break easier after heating. A note..ive never done it so id refer you to youtube for some research on it.

what stabilizer did ya go with!? Ive been flirting with the idea of a duel setup myself

I diddnt even try to loosen em yet cus I can't even get a socket in there. It's too tight . I'm having a really crappy day. I figured I'd win one project and put my smitty door hinge steps on and dam torx bolt won't free with my impact wrench and t50 and literally warped my t50 head.

Do you have a shallow socket set that fits with a breaker bar? Sometimes I have to take my jack bar(harbor freight floor jack) and use that as a cheater bar.

Nah I guess I gotta take a trip to the store. This door hinge thing is ticking me off more than the stabilizer. Do you think this bolt still has a chance? Before and after

The t50 literally warped at the head. I figured if anything the impact wrench would of been the superior way to do this job.

Try a shallow socket with a wiggler on it, then a short extension attached to your impact driver. That's what I did to get mine off on the ground, laying on a gravel driveway.

Were you tightening this bolt? Because the stress-direction on the splines shows you almost stripped it, from over-tightening.

No but I did something stupid out of fustration.
After all else failed I ended up putting jeep tool kit t50 bit on my drill and tried to back it out that way. I know

I used a box end wrench to get those bolts out when I put on a dual steering stabilizer

Spray some PB Blaster on them and let them sit over night, that stuff works wonders.

So I got my 3/8 adapter for my 1/2 breaker bar and new torx set (this T50 was thicker then one I had the first time so maybe that was the issue before ) and that bolt broke loose at about 30lbs and the whole passenger side was smooth sailing until I got to the other side. I totally stripped the drivers door on first try and the bar got loose on second try causing me to slip and put a 3" scrape in my paint. I'm totally ticked off. I guess I could try to dremel a flat head or drill it out. Idk if I wanna cause my self more headaches or take it to the shop at this point .

Well this is what one side looks like at least
