I’ve purchased hotheads in the past and loved them, this round I ordered the mopar ones because it was easy...you probably can’t go wrong either way, but if you don’t order it with them I’d probably opt for the hot heads again to support the smaller business
We appreciate you supporting us and other small businesses.

Are the Mopar and Coverking only available in black? Hothheads offer a few other colors as well. I really didn't want black as I prefer a lighter interior (kinda regret not getting the tan leather seats.) I opted for the tan Hotheads and painted the rest of the white ceiling a khaki color to compliment it.

I like this combination that you did with the khaki paint. Looks great!

Thanks, I used these: a cheap camo paint and an expensive 2-part matte clear coat. The top coat has made it pretty scratch resistant.
EDIT: The camo color is "Khaki."

How was the smell of paint? Did it go away with the clear coat or?

I left the freedom panels off for a day and never smelled a thing, even before I clear coated them 3 weeks later (started seeing light fingernail scratches before deciding to clear coat.) When I went back and did the top, it was off for several days and same thing, no smell. BTW, the clear coat has protected it well from scratching.

edit- the clear is very nasty stuff while spaying and you need to take necessary precautions.

Thank you for the info, great idea and I think I'll end up doing the same.

before buying my mojave i test drove one with and one without the liner.
as far as road noise went there was not much of a difference between the two.
however I would imagine in winter and peak summer it would help with insulation.
from looking at the ones mentioned in this thread. the cover king looks to be the nicest by far.
