One gallon is like 64 tanks of fuel which is close to 2 yrs for me.
Will it degrade in that time sitting on my shelf or not a problem?
Any ideas.

From the HotShots website FAQ

"Shelf life for our products is a minimum of two years when sealed and one year opened. If sitting for a long time period, just shake up before using it "

It will degrade in polyethylene. I just decant it into a steel one gallon can.
