How do I level this desert rated badge?

2022. Anyone know how this is attached? How to turn it a bit so it's level? I believe I recall in another post someone saying it's bolted on from the back?

I put a "Beach Rated" badge on my wife's JL, with palm trees and all, the factory badge is just stuck on, I pulled hers off and stuck it in the cupholder indentation on her tailgate. Just pull it off with some heat and take your time you might be able to reset it yourself.......Jack

If it is mounted the same way the Jeep letters on the tailgate are measured, simply warm it with a heat gun and the adhesive will soften. You can either turn it to level or remove it and reattach with adhesive tape.

2 way tape Put a little WD40 on the top edge and let it soak. It will eventually get loose enough to remove Then if you still want it on re glue it with some clear silicons. I left mine off.

Don’t reckon I’ve ever seen/watched him, but you just did more to boost his viewed count than any other method available!

You don't want it level unless your truck is perfectly level, you want it parallel with the lines on the Jeep
