The Freedom panel storage bag takes up most of the underseat storage bin.
Miscellaneous emergency supplies behind the seat.
Velcro-ing a small first aid kit to the bulkhead behind the seat works pretty well.

Under Seat:
  • Torque wrenches: 5-80lb-ft and 50-250lb-ft
  • Breaker bar
  • Roll-up tool pouch with socket sets (includes one for every bolt/nut size the JT uses, including 26 for the oil filter housing!), conversions/extensions, torx bit set, allen key set, various spare bolts/nuts/screws/pushpins (mostly spares from bumper/fender flares install)
  • Heavy-duty jumper cables
  • Siphon pump
  • Steel hammer
  • Rubber mallet
  • Large magnet that can pick up/hold 100-200lbs
  • Some spare fuses
  • Tray with magnet
  • Tub of high temp grease and white lithium grease. Yes I know I don't need so much, they are as much a place holder as they are for me being lazy and not putting in smaller containers
  • Metal wire/strips to hold up things to parts that get hot
  • Standing light
  • Headlamp
  • Sticky rubber gloves
  • Sticky/grippy nitrile gloves
  • Roll of shop towels
  • Instruction manual for the Smittybilt winch
  • Paracord bracelet with flint
  • The diaper is clean, I swear.
  • I have some things under the other side but there's a car seat in the way. Should be stuff I don't foresee needing except in emergencies that warrant removing the seat. Probably some rope and other survival gear
As you can see, I have more room for more stuff if I needed, but not much

I will be adding a printout of the torque specs on the driveline and common components. It's about 8 pages front-and back with diagrams on where the parts are.

Behind the seats, not pictured:
3 pouches of gear oil/differential fluid - I think it's 75-90. I think, still no clear answer even from this thread, on whether 75-85 or 75-140 should be used, but I'm keeping enough for both diffs with 75-85 as I have open diffs and Max Tow (not just Trailer Tow package). Anyway, I figure in an emergency I'll be ok with 75-90

GoPro gear for outings (inevitably I will forget to pack it so I keep mounts and such behind the passenger side rear seat)

I have also been able to fit: a set of armor and rifle with mags behind the seats. You know, for when you have that sudden desire to go train at the range ;)

Oh and behind the driver's seat: air compressor, tow strap, limb saver, tarp, blanket, jacket, fire extinguisher, large ratchet straps, tarp, chords, lug-cross wrench, and umbrella.
The only thing you're missing is a roll of duct tape ?

The 40/split side (drivers side) I keep primarily empty in case I need to put something there when I’m out and about so I try not to over do it.

Behind the seats are empty at the moment as I haven’t really found anything to place there permanently yet. Maybe a decent set of jumper cables eventually.

Interesting thread; I’ll be moving my frequently used tools to the rear bed drawers I built…so under the seats I upgraded to the JCR bucket, and installed a 800w inverter on the drover side and will be putting a bottle Jack, tire plug kit, engine spares, and anything that doesn’t smell bad or leaks but is seldom used (or if used I don’t mind going inside the cab). Installing it this weekend…

I keep the tools under my tonneau cover, in a container specifically for that. Same thing with my recovery gear. I keep jumper cables, flashlights, first aid kit, and a few more things under the seat, as well as a pistol grip shotgun and a storage box that holds a handgun.

I have a garage for tools and things like lithium grease that I don't need. I'm not trying to be jack-of-all-trades, I just want what I could possibly need in a road emergency.

Can someone recommend an aftermarket under rear seat steel lock box for LE equipment (SBR, SG...) ? Can someone share dimensions and photos of how much room there is under there for an afermarket (or custom) steel box. If I can't find a pre made secure enough box I'll just make my own.

And then.... I found this:
https://www.prnewswire.com/news-rel...kbox-for-jeep-gladiator-models-301610259.html

"CORTEZ, Colo., Aug. 23, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Tuffy Security Products has introduced the Model #387-01, Underseat Lockbox for 2020 to 2022 JeepĀ® Gladiator models. The out-of-sight lockable storage box is perfect for concealing expensive equipment, firearms and other valuables that require ample space. The outside of the steel security lockbox measures 43 3/8" L x 9" 3/8" W x 6 1/2" H to provide 2,000 cubic inches of storage volume discreetly under the rear seat without disturbing the OEM styling of the Gladiator."

Being recently retired LE, I will say Tuffy makes stuff I would feel comfortable leaving equipment in. I have several of their products and I am pleased with the level of security their designs provide.

That JCR stuff looks awesome.

I bought bumpers and sliders for my XJ from them almost 20 years ago when they were just getting started
