While I will probably get a flat tomorrow, I can honestly say I have never needed or used a spare. The few leaks I have had have been slow enough to fix at my convenience. The couple actual flats were at home so I just took the wheel to the shop. Nothing like sticky track tires to attract nails . . ,

I like to rotate all 5 tires. At least that way you know that you can get your spare down if needed and you will have checked the pressure in it at the last rotation. The valve stem isn’t accessible while it’s mounted underneath the bed. Having said that, I recently bought a set from a 2025 Mojave owner and now I’m back to looking for a matching wheel.
