But, I would also like to keep the aux switch feature usable...

Lemme explain better... I'd like to be able to have the LED Pod lights turn on with the aux switch from the panel as normal, but also would like to also be able to turn them on only with the high beam switch.

Why? I drive in lots of small 2 way roads with no road lights full of vegetation at night, and the LED Pod lights are really useful but its kind of a hassle to be looking for the aux switch every time there's oncoming traffic, so that's why I would be able to switch them on or off with the high beam switch paddle, but also would like it if I can remain using them even with low beam with the aux button.

Hope this helps understand a bit better my question.

Caveat that I'm no professional and have limited knowledge, but all the systems including lighting are integrated and even a small dip (added load) can throw things out of wack. You might be able to get away with setting it up as a signal wire only with a relay, but I still wouldn't try it. Hopefully one of the more knowledgeable folks will chime in.
