If you are looking to buy a new Gladiator, just choose one of the dealers from this forum that we know give us 5-7% below invoice and be done with it. It is the easiest way to get one without any heartache, sure you might have to drive 300-500 miles but that's really not a big deal. Or like @ralphjjr did, you can have the Gladiator delivered to you via a truck for like $600 or so... Kentucky to NC is like 450 miles you can just do that...

I used the dealers on this forum to set the price. However, you do have to include the other costs - as you've noted. You also have to include the value of your time or the hassle of arranging a truck delivery. So if a local dealer will match, that's a win.

In my case, I went to a local dealer to get a feel for the vehicle to see if I wanted to purchase it. Said dealer was very reasonable, all the attributes of a good deal. I asked Spencer to give me a quote, and the other dealer couldn't get close enough. Total time invested: 120 minutes between the two, including calculation of travel costs. I figured a two hour investment to save 8 wouldn't break the bank on my time.
