We already know what the gap from standard Wrangler to Hemi Wrangler is.

We can easily infer what the gap from standard Wrangler to Hurricane Wrangler would be.

Theres no incentive at all to offer lower cost, high power power trains in the JL/JT line.

If you want that, Stellantis has a Ram to sell you.
Based on that, you can infer the gap from standard Wrangler to HO Hurricane Wrangler.

I wonder how long term reliability and ease of maintenance is on the hurricane? I honestly couldn’t care less about turbos or horsepower for my truck. Seeing other manufacturers royally f up their modern turbo charged engines makes me incredibly weary.

Sorry for the above long rant. All of the negativity on BOTH engines is undeserving. Adding a turbo to a normally aspirated can lead to disaster. An engine designed for a turbo application is designed and built for it. The Hurricane will find it's way in to my hands, even if it is in a new a Charger.
Exactly on the turbo, design for it from the start and there aren't any problems. Look at turbo diesels.
I'll more than likely keep my EcoDiesel Gladiator for the long haul. It just work right for my usage. But, I'll be watching the Wranglers for sure. I could see trading our EcoDiesel Wrangler for a Hurricane Wrangler, if the price makes sense. The EcoDiesel was awesome in the Wrangler when I first got it as my rig. But now that it's the wife's daily the 4xe would probably be better. She's not into the Hybrids, but the Hurricane.
