Hydro Blue Rubicon with grey dash

I just saw one in person last weekend at Jeepalooza and it had black cloth seats and grey dash.

That's just an opinion, of course. I've always liked the "superman" look of some sports cars. Many Porsches, for instance, were available with a totally red interior (seats, dash, plastics, everything) with a blue exterior. As someone with a hydro blue Rubicon on order I hope they fix the glitch and put a red dash in mine when they get around to building it

Yes strictly an opinion...respect yours also....now if your gonna go with Captain America decals all over it....that would be badass

Sorry way to much conversation to copy over here and I don't think I should put the gentlemen's name on here either. Maybe find a friend who does have FaceBook. He does work in the planning department at FCA and is adamant on what they had planned and that they should not have the grey dash unless it has saddle interior. It will be interesting to see if the Punkn and Hydro start coming out with red dash.

I wanted a red dash on my Punk'n, but I have the dark silver and really like it. The interior looks classy as hell (for a Jeep). It'll be interesting to see if the guy over on FB is correct, or if he's just very good at pretending to know what's going on.

I stole my wife’s phone and read the FB post. I hope the guy is full of crap and they still have a few hundred or so of the grey dashes to use before the red gets switched in. Lol. I can’t order till Black Friday and really don’t want a red dash.

Well, that really blows then. Looks like I have to revisit the debate between the Rubicon and Sport. I really hate the red dash on blue.

Yeah, that would be a hard 'no' for me as well. Maybe negotiate with dealer to swap red to grey (if one can be found).

Order tan cloth seats then get catskins in whatever design you want. It's roughly the same price as factory leather

You cant order tan cloth seats in a rubicon and if you order black cloth you will still have the red stitching on the shifters, steering wheel, etc.

Y'all I'm 99.9% sure that guy is wrong. Just look at the Wrangler as an example. Punkin, Ocean Blue and Mojito all still get silver dash regardless of the trim and options you choose.

And if the 0.1% odds they do get a red dash are true, you should still go order whatever you want and just buy a replacement silver dash for <$300. No big deal.

That may be for the 19 model year but according to him changes are for the 2020 model year of the JL/JT. If you go to the online build tool it shows red for all colors of the JL for the 2020.
