I have a non max tow gladiator. I have rubicon fenders installed. Im about to install a Clayton 2.5 lift.
I have on order method 315 0 offset 17x8.5 4.75 backspacing. Will this look good and still poke just a little with a 37x12.50r17?
Or… do I get the 17x9 -12 offset 4.50 backspacing. I don’t want a lot of poke at all. I just don’t want it to look weird with a 3 inch lift.

Here's what mine looked like with a 2.5 inch lift on the regular Sport axles, I had chopped sport fenders so the clearance won't be the same, but I have +1 offset/5.04 backspacing on a 17x9 wheel with 37x12.5/r17. Tire tread poked past the fender flares about 1 to 1.5 inches. A -12 offset is pretty aggressive, almost 2.5 inches past the flares.

So your wheel specs Will make your tires pretty much exactly were mine will be with a 17 x 8.5 0 offset?

More or less, you have a slightly smaller rim at 8.5 wide vs my 9.0 so since your offset is dead center at 0mm your wheels will stick out slightly less than mine. I would stick with the 17x8.5 with 0 offset.

Here's a Mojave with 0 offset:

I got it from this website, looks like there's a truck with similar wheels that you were looking at.

What I’m worried about is this truck has wide axles and I don’t. But I do have wider rubi fenders. I just don’t want a tucked look. I would rather have flush or a little negative before tucked. I think it would look weird with a 3 inch lift and tucked 37s? Idk

Ah, sorry, forgot that the Mojave has wide axles, here's a Sport with Method NV's, 17x8.5 with 0 offset. Tires are Patagonia MT's, 37x12.5/r17. Lift is a Rockcrawler 3 inch.

I was having a hard time finding Sport's with Rubi-flares running a 0 offset wheel, from what I gather, the Rubi-flares are .75 wider, so the tire will most likely be inline/slight poke with the fender flare on your set up.

Closest I could get, this guy is a Sport, same wheels, same lift, 37's, but with chopped Rubi flares.
