What are the center lights on your bumper can you show a close up of those?

I understand too.. I have LED flood lights on my LJ and got a set to install on JT starting on bumper. Last night I drove my LJ and noticed how much better it lights up with them over my JT. Night and Day difference.

I completely understand!

The older I get, the dimmer I get. Um, actually let me rephrase. The more light I need.

I mounted a small LED strip under the brush guard and then a set of spots on top of the cowl and a pair of floods on the sides of the cowl all tied into the aux switches.

Link to push bar.

I wish I could more lights when driving at night. I will be 44 in a couple months and I have readers everywhere and I have to concentrate to drive safely at night. Love driving at night so this new bodily feature is annoying. The new LED head lights on most new cars help alot, but when the weather turns bad it gets difficult. As I found out the hard way on my Jeep, it is good at collecting ice in the lights. I had all four accessory lights on through my addition last night and it was a great experience driving in the dark, almost like day light LOL. The yellow contrast is so much easier on the eyes. I am curious if any one would even bright me with the amber lights up high. I did brights and all lights and that was utterly awesome and rediculous, I was worried I was going to melt siding HA!

This is gonna sound stalkerish, but I love your jeep man! I have read most of your posts. I looked at some Rubitrux offerings but they were just too steep for me, and a big driver for me going to the jeep was I get to add my spin on it. I have been pretty set on going the supercharged route, but everytime I hear a hemi conversion, I just go gaga. I would be curious to learn about your conversion experience. Sounds like the finished product is damn near perfect!

Hey @DAVECS1 thanks for that link. Can you please post some up close pictures showing how the push bar is attached to your bumper? Did you have to take the bumper off to install the push bar? Love to know. Looks great. Thanks

Dave, I cannot say enough about Jesse and the crew at Rubitrux. My hemi powered Rubi is my daily driver and I love it! I picked it up in January and just ticked over 3,300 miles (it had 80 miles when they picked it up). I changed the oil a couple weeks ago and it was perfect. My only real issue, which is nothing, is where the oil filter sits (right above the sway bar, track bar and drag link) and at an angle so no matter what I did, I managed to get oil all over those components when I removed the filter. As I said nothing.

I use the remote start when I’m parked in the garage at work, simply because I love the sound of that hemi! Yes it is expensive, but my theory is that I’m at an age (63) where instant gratification has been earned and who knows when I might not be able to enjoy what I have worked so hard to earn. Originally, my plan was to sell my LS powered 1988 LR Defender and one of my 1964 Corvettes and buy a new mid-engined Corvette. Interestingly, I sold the Defender early last year and missed it dearly. I then sold the convertible Corvette and didn’t miss it nearly as much. That sealed the deal and the JT just speaks to me!

I read all the threads on steering issues, etc. including the horror stories of people ordering exactly what they wanted only to end up with issues at delivery. I knew there were certain options I wanted, but was flexible on others. I also knew that if I bought one off the lot, I could negotiate or walk. There are five Jeep dealers within an easy drive and I found the configuration that met my needs, but had upgraded wheels and no bed liner, but I got great deal. More importantly, I tested the hell out of it before negotiating a fair price. The dealer tried to pull a few bs tricks, but we have worked all of that out.

For the conversion price stated on their website, Jesse sent a flatbed to pick up my truck in Atlanta and charged a very fair price for the winch, sound proofing, rear sway bar, stabilizer, brush guard, wheels/tires and strip light. I would not have been able to do it myself for their price factoring in a small rate for my labor. I then flew up there and drove it the 300 miles to home. What a blast that was!

Anyway, I absolutely love this truck! Actually, far more than I like my 2019 Porsche Cayenne S that I gave to my wife. It is incredibly refined and beautiful (like her), while my JT is rough, capable and and handsome (like me, lol). I would do it again in a heart beat!

Factoid, thanks for the reply. I went looking on lots for the same reason. Actually did not go looking lol. I had a perfectly fine 2019 RAM liked it as a daily. I had been following the gladiator from an engineering perspective as I have friends in the industry so to speak. The truck has some legitament hardware and engineering. Really is a spectacle in today's market place. It is built to take some punishment but also be a real life capable family hauler everyday. That just does not exist. When my daughter started going gaga for Jeeps, we started sneaking in test drives when me and her were out and about. I was doing it for bonding time, which was awesome, but then one night after work I found myself at the dealer actually looking. Wasnt long before I had my own personal spec in my head and written down. I knew I needed to tow, and to keep it basic as I wanted to add all the cool stuff. I really thought the 3.6 would be lacking, but it is proving to be capable with the 4.10 and 35s. I was going to do hemi or FI. When Magnuson revealed their kit. I felt that was a more reasonable route to go as I have already scattered one new car across the garage and made my wife hyperventilate. After seeing your rig and hearing your story I am slowly creeping up the fence lol.
