Hey all, My old habits still kick in when i put on 80s hair rock, volume goes all the way up. Poor rear speakers didn't stand a chance. I've looked at what's out there and i'm not impressed. I miss the old days of adding and amp and 6x9s and calling it a day. Does anyone out there have a killer stereo system?

Do you have the Alpine system or the basic stereo? My recommendation will depend on that.

I'm partial to the Infinity Reference series.
These will fit with some work
https://www.crutchfield.com/p_108R607CF/Infinity-Reference-REF607CF.html?tp=106
They're rated at 90w at 3 ohm for the tweeter and woofer. IIRC the Alpine system is 45w at 2 ohm for the tweeter and woofer each. So it *should* be within the factory amp's rating.
You'd cut out the crossover included with them as well since the factory amp already handles that for the soundbar channels.
I do agree though, the old days of adding an amp and 6x9s and calling it a day were much nicer.

Depends who you ask
Actually Crutchfield looks to have quite a few options depending how much your willing to spend.

I’ve used the Crutchfield kits and adapters in the past… always been a good fit. 👍

Watch this on a possible location: BTW. I have a Kenwood powered sub mounted on the back panel between the seats. Std Radio and 75w Kenwood Marine Amp under the drivers seat. Sound bar speakers are Kenwood 5" 2 way (cut to fit the OEM opening and 2 way tweeters in the dash top).
