Rear speakers do not work while using phone through Bluetooth, this a safety feature?

Only had my gladiator for a week and noticed my rears speakers do not work while on the phone. Wondering if this a safety feature or something I need to get checked out.

All your speakers should produce audio, get it checked out

Typically, with an active phone call, all other audio is muted and the call is routed to the front speakers.
