I got my iceco vl65 and I had read that the ARB 10910076 plug will work on this fridge. So I got the ARB HARNESS wired straight to battery and the socket installed in bed. I checked it and with the truck running it was putting out the 14,5V at the plug. So I plugged in
To the fridge and it won't turn on. I checked the fridge with the 110 plug to the wall that it can with and it works. I plugged cigarette lighter to the bluetti Eb55 and it works. But the ARB plug wont turn on fridge. Does anyone know what the problem might be. Going on a overlanding trip on March 1st and now this . Ughhh HELP

Are you using the ARB 12v socket with the screw in plug, and have you checked at the end of the cord that plugs into fridge to see if you have power and do you have polarity right on the end of cord? Check these three things out. I have an ARB fridge ,socket and cord……Jack

Yep screw in plug. I checked the end of plug that goes in fridge , with jeep
Running it is 14 something volts. And the hot and ground are the same as the iceco plug. In my head, it should turn on . Good god

Ok , so when you say you used the cigarrette lighter plugged into Bluetti, do you mean you put the cigarette screw on adaptor thing on the ARB cord and plugged it into the Bluetti and the same cord worked then.?...if yes Good God!.......Jack

Actually no . But i will try that. I just used the cigarette lighter plug that came with the iceco. The arb plug that goes in the fridge is tighter going on and it's longer by 1/4 inch. So when it's plugged into fridge the arb has 1/4 still left where the iceco plug doesn't have the gap. If that makes sense

Well good news is the fridge is good to go one way or the other, I wonder if the ARB plug is too long and doesn't make connection right. Perhaps worse case you splice the Iceco end on the ARB cord , I think the ARB screw on connection is much better ...Jack.

Ok here you go. I put the cigarette adapter back on the ARB plug. I plugged the arb plug with cigarette adapter in the Bluetti and the fridge works. But when I take off the cigarette adapter and screw it in the arb plug on jepp It dont work? WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON. Ughhh

It’s not the cord or the plug on ARB fitting as it works the Fridge, it’s your wiring to the Arb outlet, or connection to battery , but some where you probably have polarity reversed on your wiring in Jeep, double check your connections and color code next, but not tonight. You need a reboot look at it fresh tomorrow you are almost there…..Jack

Good job, you did the work, just break it down into little jobs and no matter how difficult you will always prevail!:like:

Enjoy the fridge, I thought I would pull it in and out a lot, but we seem to use it a lot now that we have it, grocery shopping is different when you can stop to see friends or get lunch knowing food is cold! Be careful, a friend of mine here set me up with a Genesis dual battery kit free just pay shipping, and he also got me thinking, Zamp Solar, seconds panels, can get a 45 or 100 watt setup pretty reasonable.

ARB plug setup is pretty cool, I pressure wash the inside of my cap after surf fishing and the seal is great ,cigarette lighter plug would not be as good plus the screw in feature means it won’t work it’s way out. I think it’s odd but also cool that the ARB cord finds other brands and wonder if they more brands fit the same connection….Jack

I was hoping it would too ? I have until February 28 to have everything finished . We are doing the Georgia Adventure trail bottom to top , going to the SAVE EXPO. In Stark Florida then leaving there and start the trail. I've made several upgrades and improvements to our setup or actually finishing them
Up now .

That sounds epic!! Looking forward to your trips pics and write up!

Is that trail different from the Georgia Traverse? I’ve seen videos of the Traverse. Seems pretty tame but the views are amazing.

May have to add the Georgia Adventure Trail to my growing list…
