Its funny. I'm 50ish and we had the worst cars ever.

In 1984 the Corvette had 205 hp.

The last V8 Jeep was in 1981 and had 121 hp.

Now you can buy a 300 hp Honda Civic. Or a 460 hp Jeep. Or a 800 hp pickup truck.

The 70s and 80s sucked as far as cars go. And lets not forget that the 80s were also the years of the Beneton sweater. When you couldn't even tell what was under it.

Nope. The kids these days have it way better.

Sure the 60s had cool cars. But they were pigs compared to even a decent family sedan these days.

p.s. Thinking of putting an LT1 out of a late model Camaro in my 65 Chevy convertible. Truly the best of all worlds. 460 hp stock with an 8 sp ZF replacing the 2 speed "power slide". And it will last for the rest of my life.
This is what was in our high school parking lot, what I worked on as a mechanic.......... 390 4 speed. For 1970 they had functional factory ram air.

Curved bill on all the Jeeps I have owned. 37's on 17" wheels. We have a Lexus IS that the wife drives. It came stock with the big wheels, wide tires with very small sidewalls. It sticks to the road like glue. But, I am constantly adjusting air pressure on it to keep the TPMS system happy. Smaller window/amount of air in there when the temperature changes.
The big wheels and low profile tires have a purpose, just not on a Jeep, IMO.

Many curved brims, stickers and tags off, 20” wheels!
The wife calls it my midlife crisis which is 100% correct!
