Basically, I'm about to put all of this together, along with an OEM Shorty Rubicon 3-piece steel bumper(with appropriate skid plate) on my 24 JT/M.

As far as the Mopar winch plate goes, I'm to the point in the install right before I change out the end caps and bumper extensions. Everything else should be a breeze.
Just wanting to know if there is any sort of knowledge other than what's in the install manuals that I should know before I get the plate kit completely on the jeep and reinstall the bumper? Should the bumper be off when I install the winch onto the plate? Should anything be checked first? Am I going to need to modify something that it all fits together. Is there anything (besides the center adapter plate, already got it) missing from the installation kit that I'm going to need to order?

I've found VERY little online about installing this particular winch/plate combo.
Please drop your knowledge if/when you can.
I'm going to be rotating back to the real world from the oilfield in about 2 weeks, so I have plenty of time to plan and prepare.

I did see a earlier post from 2020-2021 about just the Mopar Winch Plate, but I was hoping for something more recent.
Thank you for your time, effort and knowledge.

The fact that no one has had anything to say on this subject means:

1. Oh, God Oh, God What Have I Done?
2. I'll post later all the bits of the install and try to instruct on what NOT to do.

Wish me luck.

As long as all the bolt holes line up should be a breeze. Just have no experience with that combo. Good luck!! :like:
