I pull the airbox out. It takes less time than taking the grill outI still don't see how any socket/wrench combo is going to fit between the airbox and back of passenger light bucket (on the 3.6L). It's crazy tight there, and basically requires you remove the airbox to aim the light with their tool.
On the driver side, there's a bit more space, but there's a nest of factory piping right behind the light that blocks almost all access. Maybe the socket & ratchet wrench works there, but I know their tool is again near impossible to use on that side and I had to pull the headlight out to make aiming adjustments.
What bothers me the most is just how their printed instructions and most YouTube installation videos just completely gloss over how useless the factory aiming tool is without removing the lights or other engine components to even use it.
