I vaguely remember mine taking close to 2 hrs. Most of that time was figuring out how to run the wires so nothing got pinched. That looks fantastic @TxRed208 - How long did it end up taking you to install? I've heard some owners say it takes longer than the 2-4 hour window given (user dependent obviously).![]()
Thank you! It probably took my friend an me a little over an hour. However, that was me cheating. He has a lift and we lifted it up to level to work on- some of the bolts can be tough to get at but up in the air it was rather easy. That also allowed us to run the wires up from below more easily. On top of that where I have little skill/ability with such things he is quite a mechanic with a well equipped shop. I can see where the wires would be the tough part to figure out without someone like him there. That looks fantastic @TxRed208 - How long did it end up taking you to install? im no expert - first winch (and Jeep for that matter!)ok shit, 12K? Is that what we need for the JT? asking for a friend...
nice looking setup. I've had my eyes on the 9k Stealth, but now maybe that's not big enough
How's this one workin out for you so far? Have you put it to the test yet?I installed it on the Quadratech QRC bumper that it is made to mate to - fit beautifully as I expected/hoped. I didn't add any relay or switch or anything, but even running the cables wasn't too tough.![]()
