Wasn’t a terrible experience, and they look so stinkin’ sharp! Hardest part was removing the body mount bolts, for sure. Used the torch to break down the loctite, which definitely helped. I should have done the torch sooner because I struggled for a good hour on 2 or three bolts.

Had to open up hold in the pinch welds- about 3 of them: one on passenger side and two on driver.
Can’t wait to get off-road again and see buoy the piece of mind!

How much heavier are they compared to the stock rail?

Sorry, my Gladiator didn’t have the stock rails when I bought it (previous owner must have sold them) so I didn’t get a chance to feel the difference. Quadratec says shipping weight on the Mopar rails is 33lb each said, and they say the Rock Hard rails as a pair are 108. That’s 33 vs 54 if Quadratec’s specs are right. Honestly, mine felt closer to 90 a price than 54 but maybe I’m weaker than I used to be ?
