Rock Hard 4x4 Bumpers?

I like these bumpers the best of any I have seen. Plan to get aluminum as it will reduce weight and balance out the added weight of the winch. However removing the skid plate the wraps the shock reservoir bothers me. I read that someone found a way to make modify the factor skid plate to work with the rock hard patriot bumper. Does anyone know what needs to be done? Pictures?

Love my RH 4x4 all aluminum only weighs 37 pounds, love it.

The RH 4x4 Patriot bumpers have an integrated skid that protects the shock reservoir. No need for the factory skid.
