Well I got my new bumper installed this weekend. I think I really like it. I installed it by myself for the most part....my wife had to help me lift it up on the frame....that sucker is heavy. It uses all of the factory wiring from the stock bumper, including the trailer hook-up, license plate lights and backup sensors. If you do not have trailer hook-up or backup sensors it does have plugs for those cutouts. I am pleased thus far.

That looks great.

Since you put one on maybe you or someone else can answer this.

I was thinking of getting the same rear bumper but I was going to do their aluminum front with winch.

Would this mean now my rear is weighted down too much, or is it only the weight in the front that matters?

Or if doing steel rear should you do steel front so weight is same?

Thank you!

Looks solid. I just wished they engineered it some how to be bolted on without having to have 4 zinc coated Allen bolts sticking out like a sore thumb. I suppose the hardware could be powder coated but that’s time and money.

Front weight matters because weight in front of the wheels will impact steering. The added weight of the bumper out back is basically like sticking 200# in the bed so there's no need to balance and I sincerely doubt you'll notice the weight.
