I've read a lot of threads, but can't seem to find a definitive answer...

Can I keep my original Mojave skid plate with a rock hard aluminum front bumper?

It doesn’t fit. The Rock Hard covers the entire area where the skid plate was. I wouldn’t fret it - it’s a great bumper and you can sell your skid plate to fund a bit of it (as it’s pricey).

Thanks everyone

Is there a downside to running with the stock skid?
Does the bumper protect the remote shock reservoir?

I guess what I'm really asking is, do I need to buy another skid plate from Rockhard?

I have already placed my order this morning, but I can add a skid plate if needed.

Edit: I talked to them again and they said I don't need one, but that at least one customer was able to modify their Mojave plate and still use it.
