I don’t know if this is just an issue yet, but over the weekend I noticed my door handle separating. The handle appears to have a silver plastic cover and when I went to open my door I felt the two pieces delaminating.

Has anyones noticed this and is it a warranty issue? I have ~40k on the truck, which is outside of the standard warranty, but even if it was within the 36k window, would Jeep even fix this or would it be considered a fixable defect?

If it was under the 36,000 bumper to bumper I would absolutely get them to replace it.
I had the rear interior door panel replaced because of a minor cosmetic blemish. There were 2 whitish spots that could not be removed and were obviously not because of wear. They replaced it without question.

I have a 2003 Gladiator - Mojave. My drivers side handle latch has delaminated and in the past week I have managed to slice open two fingers as the thin metal has continued to peel off. Ugh. Interesing to note that when I was first bloodied I took a file to the problem area - only to discover that the delamination process would continue.
