Good Day.

First post, I have a 25 stark white Rubicon...completely and utterly stock (at the moment)
Location: Eastern North Carolina

Question: I have acquired a Rough Country hard tri-fold tonneau in excellent condition and from what I'm told it's only a couple of years old. Missing one of the rear catch brackets for closure. I called Rough Country and they told me the part is no longer available. Really? On an item that's only a couple of years old and I can't get a replacement part?

Going to try and fabricate something.

Guess I just needed to vent...LOL

That does not sound like Rough Country. I would call them again and ask to speak to someone who knows something.

Congrats on the new jeep. You’ll love it. Sorry I can’t help with the tonneau though.

So, what was the question? That was more of a rant than a question.

Since nobody else has responded…..
Perhaps, the cover you have is too old. Yes…too old.

The Manufacturer could’ve re-designed the latching mechanism in the last couple years. They’re not going to keep parts for a product design they don’t use anymore.

The latching design that you have….couldā€˜ve been in place for 10 years or more and they decided to change it.

That's basically what RC told me, they have redesigned the closure clips and the new clips won't work. Although I was hoping for some old stock maybe being available. So now I'm in the process of fabricating a replacement, more than likely for both sides.
