Good Day,
I just wanted to give a little background into myself. I have been an avid Jeep lover my entire life. Probably stemmed form all the pictures of my Grandfather in his Jeep during WWII and my Fathers stories of bouncing my uncle out of his CJ-5. Its just always been an obsession. My first Jeep was an '86 XJ. That was fun. 2nd was an '89 YJ slightly more fun than an XJ. 3rd was a '78 Grand Waggy........EPIC!!! It had saggy springs, 4 barrel carb with points, captains chairs in the front, quadratrak and a low range package and it was this fugly brown ? color. It was the epidemy of everything that could go wrong DID but i loved it! From there i moved into a '99 WJ. That was cush and was a breeze to drive. A true road warrior. Then I moved on to the 2000 TJ Wrangler. That was supposed to be the final one. It had a lift big tires lockers, a safari rack and a winch. I was set but the pride i take in my children I choose to trade it in to get my Daughter a Mini Cooper. Mario Kart car and that was a really fun car. As you can imagine, owning all these Jeeps I have become quite the mechanic (toot my own horn.) I have always done all the work on all my vehicles. Even did the engine replacement in my TJ. I am the family shade tree mechanic (not as glorious as it sounds.)
Alas, my love for all things jeep has culminated into the complete package rolled into one. The Jeep Gladiator. For me, I see all the pedigree of the Jeeps I have loved over the years. My 2021 Rubicon is Snazberry. It has cold weather group, tow package, upgraded stereo system, leather seats, cruise control with that forward adaptive sensor thingamagig and these offroad+ doohicky things. It has just about everything. Anyways, for me its perfect. I will probably only do an exhaust/intake amybe level it out. It will get a spray in bed liner and a better bike rack. I need to get better pictures of it. I am glad to now be part of the JT clan reppin San Diego county!!
