Is this noise normal?

It happens all the time when sitting still. I noticed when I took the video that hitting the brake seems to start it. but it goes on and off. I have had many Jeeps and haven't heard this before. You may need to turn the volume up to hear it. It's pretty loud in person.

Id say no its not normal...cant say ive heard that before.

That being said having a video makes it way easier to get things covered under warranty

The 2018+JL & JT use an electric vacuum pump, rather than manifold vacuum, to run the power brake booster. There was a thread that popped up recently...

Mine makes the exact same noise, I think its normal for the gladiator.

Mine doesn't do it with any frequency. It may occasionally add brake vacuum boost, but that one sounds as if it might have a leak.

Just an update on this. The dealership is replacing the Vacuum pump tomorrow morning. The noise is not normal if you have the same thing.
