Pony up the cash for a tire rotation and wheel balance... your tires look like they hate your guts!!!

On a side note, glad to see other people doing their own thing. I'm looking at 37s with as little lift as possible for lower COG and fender trimming is a must when going this route.
Good news, those were my old 35's, and the were pretty much worn down by then, they were screaming at me on the highway with how bad they got by the end. My new 37x12.5/r17 Yokohama Geolanders are MUCH quieter.

I'm not hating cause I've actually been looking through this thread. And honestly I like the "look" of the chop and most posted this far look great. I actually see a lot in person when out and about as well.

But for me, I just can't bring myself to get rid of any part of my LED lighting group (fender DRLs). For me the LED lighting group package along with leather seats were the main two MUST haves for me when purchasing. Now if I had stock halogens to start with and maybe the non painted fenders, I'd do it in a heart beat. But the stock lighting group just looks too sexy.

I kinda have to agree with you there, the LED package is one of the nicest attributes on the Jeep these days.

Man.... you only had two MUST haves? I think I had like 6 lol. I needed a hard top, LED, technology group, premium audio, non leather tow packaged overland ecodiesel that wasn't black or red! There were only 13 in the country at the time of purchasing :LOL:

Well those were my main two must haves I guess. Lol. My Overland practically has every option available in hindsight. LEDs and leather were just my main ones

I hear ya there. I think honestly, the premium audio, LED group, diesel, and hard top were my 3 big walk aways. If I was missing one of those it was for sure no deal. If it had all those but missing tow package, eh... I could get through with aftermarket.

While I think the fender chop is a unique idea, I just don't think it's a smart one. If you need more tire to fender clearance, you have two options, more lift, or less tire. I would probably switch to a Rubicon fender first for the extra clearance. If that didn't work then I'd just add more lift.

Hello all. I just wanted to post my most recent upgrade. For those who want to keep their OE fenders, but get a little more clearance, I'd like to share my result. Last week I had stock JTR high fenders, and atm I have yoko MT 35's. Planning on 38 by summer after MC long arm lift. I had purchased Infinite Offroad chop brackets, but, after chop (full removal of liner) and installation, I didn't like the dim DRL output or the sequential performance. I have Morimoto Sealed& LED headlights, so I configured those to be my main signals and opted for the Motobilt brackets. -much better-engineered design and can be painted (which I did) and they can have a button light added for a signal should you not have hi-tech headlights like the Morimoto's. I believe, for me, this was the ideal solution and wanted to share. If underside/backside photos are desired, I will add them, I just didn't have them at the time of this post.

This thing is gorgeous. I'd love those additional photos... I'm considering the same bumper for mine
