I was looking for the same one about 2 months ago and I found 1 and I called and verified the dealership had it instock and scheduled a test drive in a couple days as the dealership was over an hour away and I couldn't get there any sooner. The day of the scheduled test drive the dealership calls and they decided to send the Gladiator off to get the Rocky Ridge customized package which includes lift, tires, custom interior, etc and when it came back they had added $35K to the MSRP price. It almost doubled the price of it to I think right about $80K so I passed on it.

But back to your original question you can use AutoTempest to search multiple sites at once.

This is a super valid point, and something I hadn't even considered. I'll expand my search. I do worry about the price tag still, but it's worth shopping!
Be careful with the rubis. They may only tow 650lbs less… But they’re cargo carrying capacity is 400 or 500 pounds less than a sport with the max tow.

That cargo carrying capacity needs to be higher if you’re going to pull any substantial weight with more than just your self in the truck.

my max tow can carry a little over 1500lbs, but a comparably set up Rubicon can only carry about 1000lbs

Rubicon
1000lbs cargo capacity
-200lbs (driver)
-500lbs trailer tongue weight
-85lbs wdh
= 165lbs left over for passengers and ancillary items.

Max Tow
1500lbs cargo capacity
-235lbs (me)
-160lbs (wife)
-120lbs (total kids)
-100lbs (total dogs)
-715lbs tongue weight
-85lbs wdh
=85lbs left for snacks

Just some perspective for you as you search

Thanks.. the new rubicons are also up out of my budget (seems funny to say as a Jeep owner). I'm going to test a 2020 Sport S tomorrow with alpine sound and a few other things I would have ordered myself. It looks lifted, so I'm a little concerned about the ride quality, but that's why we test! This thing is around 90 minutes away, so It's just a nice little drive if it all falls through, but fingers crossed.

bigger tires will also negatively affect the actual towing capacity. I went from a max tow to a Mojave and love the ride quality. Also, in the western mountains I can't see towing even 6000 lb with that tiny 3.6 liter (220 cubic inch) engine.

Go to Jeep.com and build one with what you want, put your zip code in and do a inventory search.
By model not distance.
There's plenty of them out there.

When I did this about a month ago, all of the results were lacking the max tow. I did find one on a lot about 4 hours from me by fishing through all the websites. I'm gonna see about a dealer trade for it. The guy by me acted like it's super easy, so we'll see.

Need to make sure how they are transporting it. May get it with 4 hours worth of mileage on the odometer.

I am guessing that others have noticed this, Stellantis offered 10% off after SIGNIFCANTLY raising sale prices.

So, they were totally gonna drive it.. I was about to head down to value my trade and the salesman by me called me and said his manager said he doesn't think anyone will want to trade right now. I said "so he doesn't want to, in other words?" He's like "no,no. He doesn't think anyone will be willing to do it right now." I'm like "DUDE. That means your manager is the one who doesn't want to do it!" Anywho, I call the out of state dealer, and he says "oh, no, I'll do a trade. Which vehicle of ours are you looking at?" So I tell him, and he says he just sold it on Friday TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP in a different state.
So, welcome to my journey, I guess. I'm actually at a different dealership right now looking at a used rube with low miles.

Doesn't work for Max Tow Package. There's a glitch in the search system for sure. Max tow isn't included. Goes to show you how much they value the package! Not much!

S'yeah so... I'm in the Northeast US looking for an unused Sport S that has the max tow package. I sent a salesman on this mission with no news yet.. This is apparently a unicorn at this point, but I thought I'd ask this community. Has anyone seen one sitting around at your local dealership? I'm starting to believe that nobody wants max tow except the folks who factory ordered. I missed the boat on that. Now I'm stuck waiting on 2024s, and who knows what pricing will look like.
I have not seen any but I own a 2021 that I purchase of the lot. It came with the tow package. But it is a Ecodiesel.

i can second he OP here. Ive used the builder a mess of times and it doesnt let one pick the max tow package as an option, and it only lets the "tow rating" sliding scale go to a max of 6,000lbs.

keep at it! The end result will be worth the foot work.

For what its worth when I got mine back in 19 my dealership worked a deal with another dealer two states away and went to get my max tow jt and drive it back to me. So I got it with a couple hundred miles on it. Didnt bother me at all and I had it in writing that any issues related to any brake in process would be covered by the dealer. I had none, but it made me feel good about their employee going and getting it. I also learned that some dealers require their employees to have an app active on a phone so they can be tracked via GPS for speed and such, which also made me feel better knowing someone wasnt drag racing my new jt at 90mph down the highway to me.
