Does the tailgate move when it’s closed? Mine did and made a thunk that drove me nuts. Adjusted the strikes for a tighter fit and the noise is gone.
My tailgate also made noises. The hinge bracket was bent at the removal slot. I bent it back some and the noise went away.

14000 miles, every time I hit a bump now there is a thunk or bump noise. Seems like it’s under the rear seat. I crawled under and checked for loose suspension components but see nothing loose.

Now even a crack in the road makes the noise… seems to be getting worse.

Stock suspension. I do have rock hard sliders, but the bolts seem tight.

Thoughts?

Thanks!
Shock is probably blown.. mine was doing that prior to throwing those off and replacing with Falcons.

Wonder if the shock is a warranty item?

I've been going down the list... nothing found yet.

I jumped harder. Yes, the noise seems to be coming from the shock… just on the right rear. 😕

Thanks for everyone’s input.

Thanks for the tip. I’ll call the dealer and see if it’s a warranty item. I’ve never done anything that would cause it to fail.

The Mopar website says shocks are covered.

Have you lowered and raised your spare tire to make sure it's not moving around when you hit a bump?

I did do that. It seems tight.

The shock is pretty clearly the problem. I had a friend jump on the bumper, and you can hear and actually feel the shock has issues.
