Man, it's been a long time coming, but Stacy'sMom was finally released from her warranty work today!
Quick backstory: Rear window leak started Oct. 2020, locker light issue, Nov. 2020, steering feeling weird, March 2021.
After months of my rear window not being fixed; I finally dropped off the JTR on 4/12 with a note; here are the issues and please call when finished.
Today, I got the call!
Rear Window: Installed: 4/19
Locker light issue: 4/26 Dealer determined issue was not from the leaking rear window and discovered the oil in sensor. Ordered an axle.
5/1: Steering TSB installed
6/9: Rear Axle installed
6/10" Cleaned and ready for p/u.
Man, I am stoked to have the JTR back; it drives awesome. The TSB upgrade IMO is a night and day difference.
I didn't have excessive play, but enough that I'd go into a turn, turn some, let it catch, and adj. as needed.
Today, I noticed that I was correcting my old habits of how I drove the JTR. I turn the wheel, it turns, almost oversteering in comparison (but not really).
Full disclosure: JeepCares did step up and w/o me asking; paid me out for the downtime of my truck.
Either way, I'm stoked to just be driving it again.
Here she is, parked at home where she belongs...
