Yeah no kidding, those duck are stupid in my opinion. Seems to me to be a chick thing since I always see female jerp drivers with ducks plastered all over their dash board

She won't want to go back. I gotta admit I still miss that 1500 with regard to the comfort and smooth riding/driving. If I was still towing my big travel trailer I would still be in it. With my daughter going to college about 11 hour drive or more away each way. I have kind of contemplated moving back into one if the deal was right. I did the drive in my JT and was ok but my wife was not to comfortable
I came from a 2021 Laramie got the itch for a Jeep because my wife has a JL. I greatly miss the comforts of the RAM. I never towed anything, just bought it because I could. I'm also on the fence like you about getting back into a more comfortable ride.

So, I've been mulling over the idea of getting back into a full-size truck that was a little more practical, but was in no rush. Low behold I got a pretty damn good offer on my JTR yesterday from my local dealer who had a left over 2022 Ram Big Horn Hemi deeply discounted, so I pulled the trigger. Add in the 0% financing that I qualified for, and it made a lot of financial sense. Will I miss the JTR? Absolutely, though it spent more time in my driveway and on the highway than anything, so I think I will enjoy the comfort for a while. Everyone on the forum has been great- see ya'll on the road!
I did the same thing back in September. Fortunately I have a 05 TJR to scratch the Jeep itch.

Good on ya, OP, I hope you'll enjoy the new truck. I'm with you, I'm thinking about getting out of my JTR and getting into a full-size as I want to be able to tow north of 10000lb sometimes. I'm not thrilled with losing money on the aftermarket upgrades, but I can always pull them off and sell them. :) Ford has a 0% APR deal that looks attractive too.

I have a back-up Jeep in my garage to scratch the itch.
Thanks! That 0% is what got me! At least you have a back up Jeep to scratch that itch..... if I want to ride on a stiff suspension, I just take my 66 GMC for a spin, lol.

Yeah, the comfort aspect is something else. My wife rode in it for the first time yesterday, and couldn't believe the difference. One thing she mentioned was the difference in temp at her feet, and I had Armorlite in the JTR.

High trade in. Low purchase price. 0% financing. You hit the trifecta.
I'm not looking at all to get out of a Jeep but I definitely find it difficult to walk away from a deal like that.
Been wanting to correct a few options from my first order but between the current prices and interest rates, that's not going to happen.
0% financing would make ordering a '22 tempting though...

I went for it, found a 2022 F150 Lariat with a discount as it’s been on the lot for a year. 0% down for 48 months. Barely fits in the garage. ;)

Life is interesting!

LOL - say that to the big guy I saw getting out of a well-equipped JLU down here in FL with his ducks arranged neatly across the dash. Might just help you change your opinion (such as it is)
Naw, most of the ducks I've seen have been on the dash of Jeeps driven by guys. Some of them in older Jeeps, too.

Now along those lines- my wife's JLU got ducked while we were inside eating. Sarasota, FL - there was a Jeep parked in the other row that was pretty well setup for off-road fun, wonder if it was that guy?

Will you still wave?
TONS of Jeeps down here in FL, esp Sarasota area, but no one waves. They DO duck, however. Ducks on a lot of dashes down here. But no one has waved.

We found our 2023 JLU Rubicon 4xe a VERY VERY VERY comfortable ride. I mean smooth, quiet, a great highway vehicle. And that's commenting after driving almost straight through 24 hours (with a few for sleep at a rest area and some eating and many fuel stops due to a teeny tank in the 4xe)
I can't believe how nice it rides. REALLY smooth, I was very impressed for a short small vehicle.
Better ride than my Ford, and not that much different from the Silverado. But then the JLU Rubicon 4xe is fairly heavy for a Jeep. It's well planted, very smooth riding. Great highway vehicle. We put a lot of miles and hours on it in the last couple of days including a lot of hours driving around Sarasota area.
Tomorrow, up to St. Augustine.....
