Don't see many members here concerned on this
Mine is a 2021 dealer inspected & jeep approved replacement of
Hood , 4 doors , updated 8 hinges, tailgate
Windshield frame didn't show any signs of corrosion
As you will see listed below your thread, there are other members with paint corrosion issues on hood and door hinges. I don't think many have had the whole body repainted.
Are they pulling the bed as well to paint behind the cab? These corrosion repairs is like buying/owning a salvaged vehicle. Hopefully they will do a good prep job.
I just noticed bubbling on the passenger side of my hood this week, looking more the hinges have bubbles and the clear coat on the hinges and on the hood around them has pealed.
I washed the truck about 3-4 weeks ago and did not see any of this.
Further inspections I find beginning of bubbling at the bottom of 3 of 4 doors, the bottom of the tailgate and the front of the hood too.
My 5 years is up in January of 26, so I hope they will fix all this.
I am DEEPLY bummed out by this.
I LOVE this truck, I only drive it around 5-8K miles a year and had plans to keep for many years.
There is not another vehicle I would want to replace it.
That said, I am thinking about dumping it after it gets fixed if it wont last more than a few years before corroding.
We also have a 2018 JL and I had been watching that one like a hawk for corrosion, but knock on wood have yet to see any signs of it. Never expected to find so much on the Glady.
