so just canceled all of my extended warranty's. my stupidity, i was not really paying
attention when i was in the finance office paying for the Gladiator..said yes a few times and out the door we went. then after a week of talking to the dealer about lifts and tire changes and possible
gear changes i was told the 2 inch lift was not offered for the Gladiator, the tire size was not a issue
changing gears would be. then i was told well its up to each dealer...now mind you they have on the lot 10 jeeps all lifted, and bigger tires. was told they did not have a warranty on them. well went back and decided to cancel extended warranty..to my surprise i am getting back $7012.00. i know WTF was i doing in the office...i guess not much..well still waiting on a check. been 2 months with excuse after excuse. next week i will drive there and take care of it a different way...but i guess dont do what i did pay attention and slow down...love my Gladiator...

THey also lied to you that the 2" lift isn't offered on the Gladiator. I had the 2" Mopar lift installed last week (see avatar) and there are a ton of people on here that have had it installed. It's actually the only guaranteed lift that warranty will cover. Some dealerships are so shady.

So is this a Fiat warranty or a 3rd party warranty?

Heck they pulled a fast one on me at the dealership as I was discussing extended warranty and got everything settled and all the paperwork but all of it was for Autonation Warranty not the Jeep Warranty I thought I was getting. None of the paperwork they were showing had anything about the Autonation stuff and then when I was signing all the documents he was trying to switch papers and get signatures so fast. It was my fault for not taking my time. Supposidly the Autonation warranty is supposed to be decent but haven't had to use it yet to see. Still not the warranty I wanted or thought I was getting.

Similar thing happened to me. Negotiated over the phone, was ready to get a warranty and everything. Having bought Toyota's from a Toyota dealership with a Toyota warranty I just assumed that was the norm for new cars. Well I got the information in the finance office and it wasn't. They were at least up front about it, but did say when I said I thought I was getting the Mopar "you can't get mopar at this price". wasn't true because I had seen about a few on the forums you could get for that price just two days before I went there.

Everything worked out, but I was a little surprised like you were that it seemed like the actually provider of the warrenty was hidden till just about the end. Honestly if they had been up front about it on the phone call I would have researched it and might have went with it, but wasn't going to sign anything last minute like that.
