Read Sig :)

Prior to that, '64 Buick Special (first car), '72 Olds Toronado (HS and a few years after that car), '83 Plymouth Reliant (new), '83 Chevy Caprice Classic (used), '88 4Runner (New, loved this one but someone pulled out in front of me in '94 and totaled it :crying: ), '94 Chevy Silverado Extra cab 4x4 5.0L 5sp (New, ordered. Hung me out to dry 2x with PCM issues 2 years later...one month past factory warranty...and Chevy wouldn't make it right), then I got into Jeeps in '96 when I bought the used '95 Cherokee Sport, and never looked back. Until my Gladiator (ordered) and my '19 CG Ltd., all were used but still ran like champs.

This is my first jeep. My last was a '98 Tacoma I drove for 20 years. So yeah, I don't go through vehicles very often. I'm hoping this one lasts me a long time.

This will be my second Jeep. I had a '74 4x4 Ramcharger, '85 4x4 Toyota pickup, '97 Jeep TJ which i just sold 2 months ago due to the rear control arm rusted completely off the frame - which also led me to buy a JT and still have a '87 4x4 Dakota

Technically no, but spiritually yes. I has a Compass on lease for a couple years a while back. It was your basic suv with nothing special about it. This is a "real" Jeep.

OOOOoooh...LOVED the Ramchargers!!! Still have that '87 Dakota...My Dad had one as well. Red over white with a white cap on it. No AC though. A few years later he asked to get one installed, found out the price and there went the Dakota

i enjoyed my Ramcharger, although it had a slant six! Yes, i still have the Dakota, but will have to sell it once i get my Gladiator. Had it painted all black ~10 years ago, new seat/headliner, new tires/wheels, body is in very good shape with some rust starting on the roof. And yes, it has air conditioning! :)

My first Jeep, but not my first 4x4. I've had a Chevrolet (1978), a Bronco II, 1986, Ranger, 1996, F150, 2003, Lincoln Mark LT, 2006, Porsche Cayenne, 2008 and 2012, and Porsche Macan S. 2015 and 2018. My wife has had three Explorers, one Expedition, Mercury Mariner, Acura MDX and two Mercedes GLE's, all 4x4.

I actually learned to drive on my father's 1952 Willys Pickup. (Really wish I still had it).

First Jeep.

I've owned pickup trucks before. Jeeps have never had enough cargo space for me.
During my non-pickup years I got very fond of my 3000 lb GVW utility trailer. So the Gladiator will get a topper and essentially end up like a 2 row SUV with a huge cargo area.

Also, the Mojave drove well enough on the road for me to choose a Jeep. I don't think I could live with a Wrangler as a daily driver.
