I just took delivery of my Gladiator which came with the Jeep slush mats. My front mats appear to be missing a couple of oval shaped plugs (One on each side). Anyone else experience this?

Look under the mat itself. A lot of dealers don't know how to install these mats properly and forget to pull the plug from under the carpet and put it in the mat.

Word to the wise... if you get caught in rain, doors or roof off, water will find its way under the slush mats. By the sill. You will need to dry out the carpet, or it will get musty and moldy.

I read here on the forums of a guy who mentioned the it. I said no way.
Well, mine was sopping wet. Ran my hand toward the drain and squeegeed out most water. In high humidity and rain for next week, I had to have slush mats removed for over a week to fully dry out.

That said... I will only ride topless or door less if I am very sure of no rain. Kinda sucks, cause taking doors off and putting on the door less mirrors is just inconvenient enough to not want to do it often.

I wish a manufacturer could come up with a mat that fits under that plastic piece at sill. So water will flow into mat then to drain. As it is, it flows right into the sill to mat seam and drenched all below.

I have the nice expensive MOPAR mats.
