Nice looking truck. I have the same side steps on mine. Yes, they can be removed. A cordless ratchet makes it quick and easy.
My fiance might like those. She's 5'4" tall. LOL, but she's figured out a routine with the grab handles and climbs right up into the JT without much trouble. It's just a little tougher if she's dressed up for a nice date night.

The 5.7 Hemi is close to 3.6 MPG.

And in the real world where we modify, lift, and carry things I've found it's as good or better than the 3.6L in the ram. I'd expect the same in the gladiator.
