The engine designers need to go back to the drawing board and create something new. Made in the USA. 😉

A couple members have already pointed out that the poll is flawed to skew outcomes. If they had created a poll the outcome would be way different.

Edit: I didn't list a bunch of other choices because I did that awhile back. Here is that other poll:

Have to say i'm extremely happy with my 3.6 since regearing to 5.13

I'd like to see more gearing options after EPA does away with nonsense regs.

Is that the fault of engine choice though? Or is it that new Jeeps are ridiculously expensive for what they are and not the best option for regular people unless you just really want one.
Both!

We don't need this poll any more. The Mojave Z will have the V10 Viper engine, with compound turbochargers.

The press release is dated 4-1-25.

You know those big goofy looking jet engines on the back of A-10 Warthogs? That's what I want. Otherwise whatever is fine.

GE CF-34 turbofans. Also used on thousands of regional jets. Yeah, loads of power, but where would you store the 5,000 pounds of fuel you'd need to drive anywhere? I flew one of those RJ models, and I want to say it was making around 13,600 lbs of thrust on each side! 27,000 lbs of thrust pushing 5,000 lbs. Well, by the time you advanced the throttles, you'd be through the sound barrier. Has Stellantis tested these JT's at supersonic speeds?? ;-)

One of the truck/Jeep sales guys at my dealer told me about that while we were chatting a few weeks ago.
yeah i was told that by a salesman last week who was begging me to buy the new Ram with the Hurricane they cannot sale even with big discounts. He then tells me the Hurricane is having issues more issues than the 5.7 Hemi and they aren't reliable once he thought I was not interested. I was actually interested until I drove one and the truck averaged 13.8mpg on our drive. My Gladiator gets 16mpg on the same drive

No offense, but that's not exactly someone I'd believe...

Might he be right? Sure. A blind squirrel occasionally finds a nut. But a salesman is the last person to ask that question lol.
