Was pretty cool to receive an email from Jeep waves saving us $80.00 on the Jeep week pass needed to drive on the beach. Definitely going to check it out next week. I wonder if after the oil changes end which I have only 1 more will also end these type of perks.

I thought the same. We were nicely surprised with this. Are you still getting oil changes?

Huh, that's weird. Yea I only got my Gladiator last July, and have several more Jeep Wave oil changes to use yet.

I mean, it's only $80, but still, that would have been nice.

That sucks, maybe they didn't have the correct email or they just send a limited amount of emails. In any event, will be our first time going so looking forward to it.

WTF I didn’t get this. I live in Tampa and go to Jeep Beach every year! I do NOT drive on the beach though, that’s just asking for rust.

you sure about that? It’s Not like you drive thru the actual water, driving lanes are pretty hard packed and dry. I’ve had beach passes for about 5 vehicles now and never had a rust issue, nor have I heard of any from anyone around here.

I received the will call pass today via email. However, I am not sure what the events are. Does anyone know what exactly are the events? More interested in hanging out at the beach. Is the beach pass considered part of the events? I am trying to figure out if it's even worth it for me to pick up this free pass at gate 70.

What is the price of Beach access during Jeep Beach?

I've been driving Daytona Beach with many a vehicle for 40 years. Never had any rust issue. If you don't clean your undercarriage every so often, rust will happen in the south.

Your questions can be mostly found on the Jeep Beach website and/or FB page. They have posted up some FAQ's the past week on FB that I think covers most. I will try to answer the best I can.
1. Events - mostly evening/night time events are for pass holders. Show and Shine, meet and greet, parties, ect. You need to check website for all events as I am not a pass holder and don't plan on attending any.
2. Hanging at beach. You still need to purchase a beach access pass...every day you plan on going to the beach. For you, that's $20 a pop. One of the things that gets some out of towners upset, not realizing they cannot get on the beach with a JB pass. The Sunday beach drive is the only event that no pass is required. Just saw that this morning.
3. The Friday/Saturday vendor show costs $15 to get in, each day. You are limited to just the show only. The obstacle course and track lap is reserved for JB pass holders.

What do you plan on doing should dictate whether you need the JB pass. Since you are going to Daytona and the JB pass is free, why not grab it. You may very well find something you want to participate in. I'm just going to the vendor show on Friday and driving on the beach Saturday. I figured the vendor show is still ongoing Saturday and the beach shouldn't be as crowded.

Bottom Line -Beach access pass for $20 is not cheap. Disabled Vet license plate or ADA placard gets you in free. A yearly pass is $100 I think; if you plan on using the beach all year it is worth it. I hope you decide to go. It would be cool to meet up with some of you all.

Awesome, thank you. Yes the beach alone is fine at 20.00 for us. Maybe walk around main street. Very similar to Bike week which I have gone to year after year except when living in South America for 7 years. I saw your post on the caravan, would be nice but we don't want to go too early. Probably a few hours afternoon, grab a bite at the charlies crabs maybe depending on parking. lol much different with a bike.
