Boo! Same damn thing happened to me today. Two packages picked up by the same carrier on the same day going to the same location. One was delivered this morning and the other is...MIA?

So you all know (or should know) that getting me all worked up to get some Gladiator lovin in, like installing a lightbar, then have USPS take it away from me on my day off, just can’t be good.

Since I knew I couldn’t install my Lightbar today, I got up and wondered what kind of shitstorm I could brew up.


THIS IS (well kinda) A TRUE STORY.

The events depicted in this post took place in Florida in 2019. At the request of the survivors, the names have been changed. Out of respect for the dead, the rest has been told exactly as it occurred.(well kinda sorta). There’s always two sides to a story, and well here’s my side:

I thought, “Self, what about black-out the grill?” hmmm, well what if I don’t like it?

And then it hit me…

The world’s largest destroyer of the OEM seven-slot is just 12 blocks down the road, They just gotta have one laying around. So, while I said I would never ever do it, I went on down.

And it was everything I thought it would be.

EVERY DAMN BRO working there looking like they snort lines of protein powder in their down time, all wearing either backwords fitted baseball caps or trucker caps with the bills flattened and not a sleeve to be seen. GYMJEEPGYMJEEPGYMJEEP.

And the discussion began,

“Ya brah, what chu need?”

‘Hey Since you all love to prison-rape the seven-slot, got an extra layin around?’

“Ya brah, I got some, what chu hit?”

“No hit, I’m thinkin I want to shoot one bedliner black, but not mine in case I want to switch back”

K, so he throws me a number that is basically retail, I proceed to laugh while death staring him, (even better is that I’m looking up at him since I’m 5’5”) and not sure he knew how to take it.

I threw a number back at him that I thought was fair, then added one-key-word.

As soon as I said that, all got quiet. I could see the little cartoon balloon shoot up around the gel-spiked hair that was sticking out thru the mesh of his trucker cap, and I could actually see this thought materialize: CASH MEANS MORE PROTEIN POWDER FOR THE WEEKEND! (and he was thinking cause it’s not like this cat was even gonna try to drama-wait me.)

The bug deflector blends in well with a black grille. It looks good. I did my jk black. Gecko unlimited with green roof, so it needed more black. On the fence still about my jt.

SoFloJeeps does their own Kevlar Paint (Bedliner material) They'll shoot any color, I went black for the contrast.
IF you want just the grill, call them, they did gave me a good price on the grill, I paid for them to shoot it.

Just the grill, a couple of 5 lb cans. the Kevlar paint is more.
