Just installed this set of lights on my Gladiator today: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B085XZ69T5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They come with anti-flicker devices, but I didn't install them--I figured I could use JScan, and I test them before installing and they seem to work fine.

However, I'm still getting a fast blinker indicator in the cab (green arrow is blinking faster than usual) and a notification that my turn signals are out (which they aren't, they do operate without issue).

Which JScan settings should I be looking at? I currently have set:

DRL - Day time running lights - settings > LED Dedicated DRL Present to ACTIVE
LED Lights Settings > LED Front Park/Marker Lamps Present > ACTIVE
LED Lights Settings > LED Front Turn Lamps Present > ACTIVE

I'm not sure what else I am missing? Maybe they take a few cycles to actually read from the ECU? I see there is also a Front Turn Lamp Diagnostics Present setting, not sure what this is used for?

Did you do a system reset after you changed everything. Your supposed to do a reset once you get everything installed and the settings changed in Jscan there is a feature that allows you to reset the system. I can't remember which one it is right off hand

I did a Restart all ecus > All modules - Power On Restart at the top of the LED Lights Settings menu, and still got the same Turn Signals Out message.

If you've verified that the LED Front Turn Lamps Present setting is indeed set to Active (mine didn't take the first time,) you may have to put in the resistors (anti-flicker devices.)

I would check mine and see what I had mine set at but last time I had my oil change mine was showing a rear turn signal bulb out because I had added led rear tail light bulbs and the dealership did the flash for free to turn the warning light off.

That'd be a real bummer... They work perfectly, from what I can tell

That's how my rear tail lights did when I put in the bulbs. They didn't hyperflash but I wasn't able to get the Jscan to turn off the turn signal out warning on the dash. It also flashed different inside on the dash, not really a Hyperflash, like it was out of sync or something but outside it looked normal. After the dealership flashed it all was good. Jscan worked fine for the front when I added led bulbs to the turn signals, headlights, fog lights and DRL. Never got a warning once I switched everything, never should get it to take for the rears

OK, well went back out to play around with it some more, this time I just left the right blinker on, and it seemingly resolved itself. Let the left blinker on, and it also went back to normal operation. No more message! Just had to be patient... :)

Very! Just need to wait for the headlights now.

Do folks usually leave their OBD dongle plugged in? It's a hassle to get to the two plugs for the security bypass... and I'm thinking I'll just tuck that bypass up into the dash rather than trying to get those plugs back in.

I don't think it matters really I would definitely unplug the Bluetooth device from it though to keep anyone else from being able to hook up to it but other than that I don't think it matters. I did unplug mine though because I can easily get my hands up in there

My 2020 was easy... but there seems to be another black box with connectors on my 2021 diesel that’s right in the way
